Parliament Reform

Since 2009, Al Hayat-RASED is engaged in monitoring Parliament performance  on a regular basis, with the aim to enhance the process of democratic development and parliamentary reform in Jordan. It supports political participation in the electoral process, and aims to improving the performance of elected councils by enhancing accountability for the performance of parliamentary representatives.

During The next three years, Al Hayat-RASED seeks to 

• Review and update tools used: Continuously update methodological tools to better match  the legislation and the political environments.
• Enhance knowledge and capabilities: improve the capabilities of the working group on reform programs aimed at parliamentary reform. 
• Empower citizens and CSOs: provide citizens and civil society with reliable information based on facts, in order to enable them to participate politically.
